I do know what you mean about the recaps taking a lot of time and effort. I do them twice a week, once for performance night and then for encores and results. But it’s fun!

And just to bust any stereotype that might be out there about fans of Evan, I’m a 45 year old straight guy and I think he’s terrific! He reminds me of the musical stars from the 40s, 50s, and 60s. I grew up on those.

I absolutely LOVED your comments on Evan – you couldn’t be any more right. He’s incredibly adorable, with amazing talent and great personality! He’s got loads of that little thing I like to call charisma. To spare, by the way! And his dancing is incredible! He’s a little droopy-eyed, yeah. So what, it just makes him even more adorable!
Oh yeah: now I can’t watch SYTYCD anymore without thinking of the Holocaust innuendos…
P.S.: Wow, didn’t quite get the whole “let’s-make-it-clear-Evan’s-dating-Britta” thing… We’re all just a bunch of fans, worry not – we just want him to be happy…

Hi Britta’s Mom!

I was Britta’s big sis in AGD, plus she was in my Lion King dance. I love her!! I also love Evan and I think they are PERFECT together!!! I have to say, as an IWU alumna and previous dance partner of Evan’s, I’m SOOO excited for him!!! Evan is a phenominal dancer, extremely down to earth, and a great guy all around. I am going to keep voting and watching!!! Go Evan!!!

I’m the author’s mom and can verify that yes, she definitely was going to be named Evan if she turned out to be a boy. Silly me, I also liked the name Steven and was thinking of Evan Steven until I realized it would sound and look too much like “even Steven” haha

Evan IS dating someone and her name is Britta. She’s just as cool and spunky and fun as he is and is fast-aproaching in the dance category.
